CPE FAQ

On September 1, 2014, BVR updated our policies regarding CPE for additional listeners to our webinars, workshops, and other training events. Along with this update, we've implemented a new CPE survey process. The information below is intended to help users navigate this new process.

How does it work?

CPE surveys will now validate CPE eligibility based on a users purchase of a particular event. Subscribers to BVR's Training Passport, Passport Pro, and Online Symposiums will receive CPE for programs within their subscriptions. Attendees who purchase admission to a single presentation will receive one CPE certificate with their admission price. All other attendees will be required to pay a $105 processing fee.

Where Do I find My CPE Authorization Code

Single Event Purchasers will find this code on their access instruction email.

Subscribers to BVR's Passport, Passport Pro, and Online Symposiums will not be issued an authorization code. These users should log in to our site to bypass this requirement.

I Receive An Error When I Enter My CPE Authorization Code

This could be the result of a few scenarios:

  • Is the code being entered correctly? All codes are numeric; some will include dashes. There should be no other values in this field.
  • Has the code been used before? CPE authorization codes may only be used once. If you or another user has already entered a valid code, it may not be used again.
  • Is your code for the correct webinar? While nearly all codes are transferable between programs, special codes issued by BVR may only be used for specific events. If your code was issued by special request to BVR (not on your log in email) verify that you are using it with the program for which it was issued.

If these options don't work: contact BVR for further assistance.

How Do I Log In?

Subscribers should log in to BVR's Training site through one of three links:

  1. The main log in link in the top of the left navigation panel (second option)
  2. At the top of the survey (in a large red box)
  3. At the bottom of the survey (also, in a large red box)

A link to log in is also available here.

What Are My Log In Credentials?

If you do not know your log in credentials, contact BVR to have them sent to you.

After Log In I'm Still Prompted To Pay A Fee

This could be the result of a few scenarios:

Page Not Recognizing Log In: If, after you've logged in you still see links to Log In, refresh or reload your web browser. If these links remain, you are not logged in.

Incorrect or Invalid Log In Credentials: Attendee subscriptions are stored under specific log in credentials. If an attendee logs in with a credential that does not include a Training subscription, such as a firm log in, they will not be recognized as a subscriber and will be prompted to pay a processing fee. If you cannot remember your log in, contact BVR for further assistance

Program Not Included With Your Subscription: If the program for which you're trying to receive CPE credit is not included with your subscription, you will be prompted to pay a processing fee. Typically, this occurs when a program falls outside the scope of a subscription, but may also occur when a subscription has lapsed. If you receive an error to this effect, contact BVR for further assistance.

Finding The CPE Authorization Code

CPE Authorization codes are provided to single event purchasers via their log in email. These codes will appear in red in a large red box in the middle of their email.

Subscribers are not provided a CPE Authorization Code and should log in to our site to complete their survey.
