Advice to lawyers in the Uniloc case: hire a certified business appraiser. Duh.

BVR is closely following the latest decision in the huge Microsoft IP cases (we've covered every stage of this long-running case and appeal in BVWire).  But, there's at least one theme we want to emphasize at this early stage--that the "losing" expert is not credentialed by any of the valuation associations.   So, here's our advice for billion dollar companies with huge litigation on their hands:   hire a certified business appraiser.
