More on Domain Name Forfeitures

As we have discussed earlier, one of the risks valuators must take into account is the risk of a company losing a domain name as a result of intellectual property infringement.  We are no longer at the stage of Can they do it? or Will they do it?  when it comes to federal seizures. Dozens of domains have been taken over. Here is the “sign” left behind by the Feds (Homeland Security) when they seize a  domain for willful copyright infringement or knowingly trafficking in counterfeit goods.
